Chief Executive Officer & PrincipalLibby is the CEO and Principal of Sterling Insurance Group, born and raised on Martha's Vineyard, with more than 15 years leading independent agency operations. A Babson College graduate, AAI and CPIA-designated, and two-time Elite Women in Insurance honoree (2017 and 2024), she brings executive education from Wharton, Kellogg, and Booth to agency leadership — alongside a lifelong passion for the arts, including studies at RISD.
Chief Operating Officer & PrincipalA CIC, LIA, AAI, and CISR, he specializes in restaurants, coastal homes, and trade contractors. Babson College graduate, Martha's Vineyard 40 Under 40 honoree, volunteer firefighter, former MAIA Young Agent of the Year nominee, and proud home chef.
Compliance & Financial OperationsWendell brings four years of agency accounting experience and over 40 years with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he served as a federal Contract Manager overseeing Medicare insurance contracts and led the Financial Management Branch covering Medicare Fraud and Abuse and Medicare Secondary Payer compliance nationwide. He ensures Sterling's operations remain accurate, compliant, and built on solid process.
