Wendell Cosgrove is the Compliance and Accounting Specialist at Sterling Insurance Group, overseeing agency bill processing, month‑end accounting, and the development of standard operating procedures that keep the agency running with precision and consistency. He brings four years of insurance‑specific experience to the role, supported by a professional foundation that is unusually strong for an independent agency environment.

Before joining Sterling, Wendell spent over 40 years with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he served as a Contract Manager of Insurance Companies with Medicare Contracts and as Chief of the Financial Management Branch. In that capacity, he oversaw Medicare Fraud and Abuse, Medicare Secondary Payer Insurance, and Medical Review activities across the country, managing compliance, financial accountability, and regulatory oversight at a federal scale.
