Janet is the Director of Commercial Lines at Soo Hoo Insurance, a Division of Sterling Insurance Group, overseeing the agency’s commercial insurance portfolio and supporting business clients with their policies and account servicing. She has 10 years of insurance experience, beginning as a Personal Lines Executive before transitioning to commercial lines in 2019.
Janet holds both the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management with a major in Actuarial Science and minors in Statistics and Mathematics, graduating with a 3.84 GPA — a quantitative foundation that supports her detail‑oriented approach to commercial account review and coverage placement.
Janet is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, enabling her to work effectively with Chinese‑speaking business owners and commercial clients across greater Boston with clarity and cultural sensitivity.
